I should be able to to use my itunes to download on to my daughters FP3 player. THis thing is a pain in the A&#.
It won't take it.andWARNING: does not work with VISTA As much as I spent on this thing I should be able to put anything on it.
I can't download anything without it messing up. I haven't been able to put any stories on it at all.
This is a great idea but should be more user friendly. this is just a way for us to spend more money on our children.
I have to pay for everything.
She has even learned how to operate the Fp3 player by herself. Our 4 year old loves the fact she can listen to her music anytime any place. It's so easy and user friendly.
The player spends most of its' time in the docking station. I'm a mom of three kids with much experience with crappy toys, this one is a hit. The neighbor kids even come over and turn it on. After loading a ton of music I hardly ever change the songs since kids will listen to the same songs over and over. The batteries last longer (for some reason) when it's used in the docking station, and you have to screw them in pretty tight in the player.
It gets played with every single day. We also bought the "docking station" to go with it. My girls turn it on and dance for hours. Seriously, it's a great buy. We've had this toy for a year now and it's fantastic.
I think this toy gets dropped at least once a day and just keeps working. I've never had any problems with the toy.
I just tried my second disk and it said the same thing as the first. The problem we have is we cannot get the software to install correctly. for 10 minutes (because she only has the 4 preloaded songs on it). So now we are stuck with just the 4 songs and 2 stories it came with. This product is a great idea, but not a great product. My daughter 3 1/2 loves it. It does go through the installation process but then when I try to actually run it, I get error messages.
My son got his when he was 5 and my daughter got her's when she was 3. My son is now 7 so we might have to think about a MP3 player, but this was worth every dime.
WE LOVE IT Over the years we have taken off and added more songs.
We didn't use the songs from the Fisher Price store though.we used CDs of our own and put them on the players. My suggestion is to use your own cds.cost less and the kids love it more.This is has been a life saver on vactions, airplane rides, and long car rides.
We own 2 of this products. They are both still using it and loving it.
The speakers that can be purchased separatley are also a great buy.
